4K Blu-ray

Если с уже привычными видеодисками Blu-ray (с разрешением не больше FullHD) все как то более менее понятно, то вот с надвигающимися 4K Blu-ray возникает много вопросов. Телевизионные каналы в формате 4K уже вещают, плееры 4K также уже есть в продаже, телевизоры и мониторы - аналогично. В рунете даже диски 4K Blu-ray уже предлагают, но вот об особенностях 4K Blu-ray дисков информации в рунете как то совсем мало. Да и в англоязычном интернете даны самые общие сведения.

"On September 5, 2014, the Blu-ray Disc Association revealed that the future 4K Blu-ray Disc format will support 4K UHD (3840x2160 resolution) video at frame rates up to 60 frames per second. The standard will encode videos under the High Efficiency Video Coding standard. 4K Blu-ray Discs will support both a higher dynamic range by increasing the color depth to 10-bit per color, and a greater color gamut by using the Rec. 2020 color space. The standard will continue to use 4:2:0 chroma subsampling. The 4K-Blu-ray specification allows for three disc sizes, each with their own data rate: 50 GB with 82 Mbit/s, 66 GB with 108 Mbit/s, and 100 GB with 128 Mbit/s. 4K Blu-ray Disc technology will be licensed in the spring or summer of 2015, and 4K Blu-ray Disc players have an expected release date of Christmas 2015."

При этом, многие, вполне доступные обычным пользователям программы обработки видео, уже способны обрабатывать 4K формат, давать возможность его редактировать. Речь, к примеру, о Adobe Premiere Pro и продуктах от Nero. А значит, можно предположить, что и записать 4K Blu-ray диск с их помощью можно. В рамках данной заметки подобных проверок не проводилось.
